1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We use cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage) to keep the Platform working, to remember your preferences, and to understand how the Platform is used. This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
2. Categories of cookies we use
- Strictly necessary — required for core functions such as signing in, keeping your session, securing the site, and remembering items in your cart. These cannot be switched off.
- Preferences — remember choices such as language, currency, and region so the Platform behaves the way you expect.
- Analytics — help us measure traffic and understand how visitors use the Platform (for example via GA4 and privacy-friendly analytics), so we can improve it.
- Security and anti-abuse — set by our infrastructure and content-delivery provider to protect against fraud and malicious traffic.
We do not use cookies for third-party advertising. If that changes, we will update this policy and request consent first.
3. Consent for our EU and Israeli audience
Because we serve collectors in the EU, Israel, and worldwide, we ask for consent before setting non-essential cookies where the law requires it:
- Strictly necessary cookies are set without consent, as permitted by law.
- Analytics and other non-essential cookies are set only after you accept them through our consent banner.
- You can accept all, reject non-essential cookies, or choose by category, and you can change your choice at any time from the cookie settings link.
- Your consent choice is itself recorded so we can honour it on future visits.
4. Managing cookies
You can manage cookies through our consent controls and through your browser settings, which let you block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the Platform from working. For questions about cookies, contact privacy@rachelspalette.com.
5. Changes
We may update this policy as our use of cookies changes. Material changes will be posted here with a revised “Last updated” date.
